It’s been nearly a week since the death of Osama Bin Laden and my feelings from the first day have not changed. I waited to post to make sure that my feelings were not just spur of the moment and they are not.
I really have no feelings or opinion on the actual killing of this man. He was evil, there is no doubt, but to kill a person…I just don’t know. I’m not sure there is a right or a wrong answer, even if you take a Biblical approach. I suppose that killing him was the easiest conclusion.

What I do have an opinion on is the reaction of many in the United States. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but that doesn’t make it wrong. I just cannot stand the thought of people celebrating death. It’s just wrong.
I know that Bin Laden was responsible for the death of thousands. As I said, he was evil. But to celebrate in the killing of a human…it’s just not right. We, as Americans, have expressed disgust at pictures of other countries celebrating the death of our citizens.
In so many ways, we believe America is superior to most, if not all, other countries. Shouldn’t we hold ourselves to a higher standard?
We usually do…
