Cirque Du Soleil

Candice and I went to see Cirque Du Soleil in Columbus on Sunday. It was just as cool as you may have imagined.

When we looked for tickets, we discovered that the seats up front were the same price as the seats further back. So we chose…up front. We were in the second row on the end. It was really close. Less than 15 feet. Continue reading →

Washington DC

Candice decided that she wanted to go away for my birthday. She thought that I would enjoy Washington DC, which of course I would. So with some very last minute planning, we took off Friday morning for the nation’s capital.

It took us around eight hours to get there, including stops for gas and food. The drive was very strange. Apparently in other states, the speed limit is simply a suggestion. Once we left Ohio, we have to drive ten to fifteen miles per hour over the limit to keep from getting run over. We even got passed by a trooper at one point. It did help us make good time though and we only hit a couple traffic knots during the whole trip. Continue reading →

Funny Spanish Videos

I know I’m late to the game, but I saw a couple videos yesterday that made me laugh and I had to post them. They were made by students, and teachers, at a school just down the road at Dublin Jerome High School. They take Spanish lessons and put a fun spin on them.

Interesting (Really!) Safety Video

I read about this video this morning. When I went to find it on YouTube I was more or less just bored. The funny thing was…I ended up watching the whole video.

This is a new safety video for Air New Zealand. You know, the video you have to watch to explain all the safety precautions for a flight. In this new video everyone is naked except for body paint. The paint though is very cool and detailed. You obviously never see anything, so it’s not really about sex.

Check it out. I bet you will agree that it is the best safety video you have ever watched.
